On November 1st, 2025, something truly historic happened for the Mastery Martial Arts family in Troy, Michigan. In their very first appearance at the prestigious “Night of Champions” competition in Rhode Island, the Mastery Troy Demo Team stepped onto the Night of Champions stage and delivered a performance that left the audience breathless — and brought home 1st Place in their division.
The Stage Was Set for History
The Night of Champions is one of the most anticipated events in the Mastery Martial Arts organization — a spectacular showcase held at Bally’s Twin River Lincoln in Lincoln, Rhode Island, where demo teams from every Mastery school across the country come together to compete for the title of Grand Champion. The atmosphere is electric, the performances are breathtaking, and the competition is fierce.
For our Troy team, this was uncharted territory. They had never competed at this level before. Yet from the moment they took the stage, it was clear that these young martial artists were ready. Their precision, their energy, and their undeniable spirit captured the hearts of everyone in the room.

Months of preparation, countless hours of rehearsal, and an unshakeable belief in one another — that is what the Mastery Troy Demo Team brought to Rhode Island. The crowd erupted as the team completed their final formation. The judges were unanimous. When the results were announced, the Mastery Troy Demo Team had done the unthinkable: in their very first appearance, the Mastery Troy Demo Team at Night of Champions had claimed 1st Place in their division.
