The part that shows up at home
What Leadership Training is.
Karate class is where your child practices the life skill. Leadership Training is where they learn to use it at home and at school.
It is the reason parents write reviews about the bed getting made and the chores getting done, rather than about the kicks. The skill is taught in class, then Leadership Training turns it into something your child does on a Tuesday morning when nobody is watching.
How it runs
Leadership students stay an extra 15 minutes after their Monday to Thursday class.
Students age 7 and up who have reached green belt also train in the dedicated 45-minute Leadership Training classes, Monday to Thursday at 6:45pm.
Friday evening and Saturday morning are open to all leadership ranks.

Every tier includes your child’s uniform and belt testing — no extra fees. Membership is a six-month term, reviewed with you in person before you sign anything.

WHITE → YELLOW · first 4 months
1. Focus
Your child learns to pay attention on purpose — standing still in line, keeping eyes on the instructor, finishing a drill without being redirected.
ORANGE → GREEN · 8–12 months
2. Confidence
Your child knows what they can do, because they’ve done it — looking adults in the eye and trying things in front of people.
PURPLE → BLUE · 16–20 months
3. Discipline
Your child does the work when they don’t feel like it — practicing without being nagged, keeping a promise because it’s become a habit.
BROWN → BLACK · 2–3 years
4. Leadership
Your child helps someone else get better — teaching a younger student, speaking up, taking responsibility without being asked.
Students test roughly every two months. You don’t need to decide about Black Belt today — it begins with the next class.

What ages do you teach?
Ages 3 to 17, in classes grouped by age: Tiny Tigers (3–4), Little Dragons (5–6), Kids Karate (7–9 and 10–12), and Teen Martial Arts (13–17). We are a kids-only school — no adult classes.
What does the free introductory lesson look like?
It’s private and one-on-one. Your child meets their instructor, learns a few basics at their own pace, and leaves with a small win. You watch the whole time.
My child has never done martial arts. Is that a problem?
No. Most children start with zero experience. The introductory lesson is private and taught at your child’s pace, so beginners are never behind or watched by a full class.
What does it cost?
Tuition is $149/month once a week, $249/month twice a week, or $299/month unlimited. Enroll after the introductory lesson and your Free 30-Day Pass takes $25, $50, or $70 off every month, for as long as your child trains.
What should my child wear to the first lesson?
Comfortable clothes they can move in, and bare feet on the mat. Nothing to buy before the first lesson — a uniform is included if you enroll.
Can I stay and watch?
Yes, always. Parents watch the introductory lesson and every class after it from the viewing area.

First time here? Come a few minutes early. Your child’s introductory lesson is one-on-one, so there is no class to slip into late, and a few quiet minutes to look around helps a nervous three year old more than anything we can say.
